In keeping with its traditional role of a middleman between publishers and retailers, Ingram is now offering publishers access to Apple's iBookstore through CoreSource. Any publisher that wants to use Ingram to distribute its e-books to the iBookstore can submit titles to Ingram who will convert them to the required ePub format. Phil Ollila, head of Ingram Content Group, said through CoreSource Ingram will ensure that the e-books meet Apple's technical requirements. Business terms are between the publisher and Apple, Ollila added.
